For the very first time, zerothird, together with our sister company qtlabs, hosted an Open House Week - a milestone moment that marks an important new chapter in our company’s journey.
Over the course of six days, we welcomed our guests to 11 individual events, opening our doors to demonstrate that we have truly moved beyond the startup phase. What visitors experienced was a company that has matured: a unique symbiosis of science and industry, and a strong bridge between Nobel Prize-winning quantum technology and the professional, scalable production of real-world products.
During the Open House Week, we had the pleasure of presenting our products and production facilities to a carefully selected audience. We welcomed a wide range of key stakeholders, including:
- High-ranking political representatives
- Journalists and media representatives
- Investors, both existing and potential
- Customers and prospective customers
- The scientific community, including universities and
- EuroQCI colleagues
We are particularly honored by the visits of Federal Minister Hanke, representatives of the FFG, as well as State Secretaries Pröll and Schellhorn, whose interest and engagement underlined the relevance of our work for Europe’s technological future.
We were deeply encouraged by the high level of interest, the open exchange, the thoughtful questions, and the motivating support we received throughout the week. The discussions clearly showed how strong the demand is for trustworthy, future-proof solutions in secure communication - and how important it is to translate cutting-edge research into reliable products.
In total, we welcomed nearly 300 visitors during the Open House Week. Beyond the official program, we especially enjoyed continuing conversations in a relaxed atmosphere - sharing mulled wine or punch, roasted chestnuts, and deeper discussions late into the evening.
Looking ahead, we are excited about a future filled with ambitious projects, new customers, and further inspiring events. Opportunities like these allow us to demonstrate our technology, explain its impact, and clearly show that we are ready to revolutionize the market with secure quantum communication.
