On November 5, 2025, zerothird, together with iSEE – Impact Space Expedition and Exploration, hosted the exclusive industry event “QUANTUM-SECURE NOW: Preparing Your Business for the Quantum Era” at the Tabakfabrik Linz. The event was tailored specifically for decision-makers and offered a hands-on introduction to our portfolio of quantum-secure products and services.
Instead of presenting our solutions at a traditional trade fair or conference, we chose a focused format centered on practical relevance, exchange, and real-world application. The strong resonance, thoughtful questions, and in-depth discussions clearly demonstrated how urgent and relevant quantum-secure communication has become for industry today.
From Motivation to Implementation
Participants were guided through the key questions shaping the future of secure communication. The discussions began with the why: the rapid progress of quantum computing and the resulting need to act now, as conventional encryption methods will not be sufficient in a post-quantum world.
The focus then shifted to the how, showcasing how quantum-secure communication can already be implemented today. We presented our eQKD solutions, enabling secure communication over existing optical fiber networks, as well as our quantum keys, designed to integrate seamlessly into established Key Management Systems and current IT security architectures.
Finally, the what was demonstrated through real-world examples. Live projects with customers such as ÖBB and Erste Group Bank AG showed that quantum security is no longer theoretical, but already operational.
Strong Exchange with Industry Leaders
The event brought together a highly engaged audience of industry decision-makers and investors, founders, CEOs, and CISOs. The diversity of perspectives led to valuable discussions and insights, contributing to a shared understanding of how quantum-secure technologies can be adopted in practice.
The evening concluded in a relaxed atmosphere with shared food and informal conversations, providing further opportunities for networking, deeper exchange, and exploring future collaborations.
Thank You
We would like to sincerely thank all participants for their interest and engagement. Special thanks go to Felix Tiefenbacher, Lukas Helm, Leif Eric Hintzsche, Sebastian Neumann, Khaled Kassem, Jonathan Gruner, Alexandra Seidel, and to Christian Federspiel and the entire iSEE team for their outstanding support and for hosting us in the inspiring space of the Tabakfabrik Linz.
We look forward to continuing these conversations and shaping the future of quantum-secure communication together.
